Ryedale Group has become the first UK print operation to install an X-size Komori Lithrone S29 press
Installation took place in January 2011, and the new Lithrone SX29, taking a larger sheet size of 610 x 750mm, and with coater and full automation, will be equipped with a Komori plastics printing package with skeleton transfer cylinders to eliminate marking on thicker-gauge plastics. Komori and Ryedale have also developed a 'unique' UV specification so that Ryedale can develop new, unique, more energy-efficient cold-cure UV technology. The cold cure UV not only allows us to process plastic more efficiently it also allows us to print plastic substrates as thin as 40 micron all the way up to 800 micron.
