Our History
We've been in business since the early 1950's. Over that time we've changed dramatically, from local supplier of commercial print, to plastic specialist, to leading supplier of horticultural labels and plastic cards in the UK, and regular developmental changes at Ryedale are a part of our culture. We're now experts in Lean Manufacturing, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (O.E.E.) as well as hardware and software automation that is focused on delivering better customer results.
But here's where it all started: The original Ryedale Printing Works Ltd based in Helmsley, in the early 50's and the Company founder George Buffoni working with our first employee Tom Marsden. Tom went on to work with 3 generations of Buffoni's at Ryedale over the course of his 56 year career with us.
Nowadays we research, develop and invest in pioneering technologies on behalf of our customers.
